Virtual

The virtual components of the 2022 CIES Conference will include experiences to further informal networking and foster discussion of significant issues. 

Attendees on the virtual platform will have access to all Pajama Panels (virtual-based sessions) as well as the following plenary sessions being held in Minneapolis: 

• Conference Launch and Closing Ceremony 
• Morning Meetings to include CIES Awards Ceremony and the State of the Society     Meeting 
• Presidential Address and Keynote Speakers 
• Community Celebration and Thursday’s Special Session  

The 2022 CIES Conference program schedule is designed with the user experience as a high priority, with sufficient time for breaks, and a plan that minimizes conflict between the on-site and virtual components.  CIES will be using the online Conference Hub platform it deployed for the 2021 conference. 

Asynchronous sessions are not listed in All Academic (because they do not have a specific presentation time) – they are available during the entire conference. Links to these asynchronous sessions, including some Book Launches, Posters, and the Film Festivalette, are in the Conference Hub.  Please remember, the schedule was created in the Minneapolis time zone (CST). In both All Academic and the Conference Hub you will be able to set your time zone to see times that are accurate for your location.
